The Lions of Fifth Avenue by Fiona Davis

In 1913, Laura Lyons and her family live in an apartment inside the iconic New York Public Library, where her husband is the superintendent.  When valuable books go missing, it threatens both the institution and her family’s life there.  Laura puts her new journalistic abilities to use while dealing with her shifting personal values.  Eighty years later, Sadie Donovan is planning an exhibition about the groundbreaking essayist Laura Lyons when history repeats itself and exhibit materials begin disappearing.
