I got it from the library

It's mine for three whole weeks

I ask my mom to read it to me

I listen as she speaks

I love my book

All shiny and clean

But don't spill on it

Or the librarian might be mean

My dear old librarian is the best as can be

Just don't spill on books

And she'll be as happy as you can see

I love my lovely book so much

I want it forever

But as time goes by and such is such 

Those three weeks fly by as ever

Time to say goodbye 

Time to say so long

For I know deep down 

And I know without a frown 

My book will be okay 

For another kid will come it's way

And hopefully 

Love it just as much as I do
