Enhance your Adult Summer Reading adventure with our "Library Side Quests" challenge! Pick up, or download a Quest List and embark on fun challenges inside the library. Discover strange books, hunt for authors with your last name, and much more! Completed side quests count toward prizes in the Adult Summer Reading Program. For every three quests you complete and show to a staff member, you'll earn a prize and a raffle ticket for the Adult Summer Reading Grand Prize!

- Ask a staff member about the Mind Benders collection.
- Visit the Reference section. What is the weirdest reference book you can find?
- Go to the cookbook area and find a recipe you'd like to try. Make a copy of the recipe or check out the book.
- Tag the library in a social media post during a library visit.
- Check out a book from one of the library's recommended reading lists.
- Check out a Binge Box DVD set.
- Browse the travel section and find a place you would want to visit.
- Attempt to draw something from a how-to-draw book.
- Find a book on local flora and fauna. Learn to identify something new.
- Post a positive review on the library's Facebook page.
- Check out a book from one of the library's displays.
- Find a good quote from a book and make it your phone/computer/tablet wallpaper.
- Unleash your inner artist by decorating the library pavement with sidewalk chalk.
- Make a librarian laugh with a funny joke.
- Get a voter registration form and register to vote.
- Use the typewriter to write a letter to your future self.
- Register online for a library program.
- Download the library app or any library E-media app to your phone.
- Ask staff how to participate in Summer Reading.
- Find the name of the current president of the Friends of the Library organization and tell a staff member.
